EXPANSION OF THE ROUTE NETWORK, RUSSIA’S BEST BAGGAGE SYSTEM AND FIRST AVIATION MARKETPLACE ‘DMEStore’: THE JURY PANEL OF THE ‘AIR GATES OF RUSSIA’ AWARD RECOGNISES DME’S ACHIEVEMENTS
Domodedovo Airport became a laureate of the National Award ‘Air Gates of Russia’ in the nomination ‘Best Airport of the Year among Cities of Federal Significance’. The award was presented to Irina Ryabinina, the Deputy Director of the Airport for Aviation Commerce.
“Domodedovo Airport is open for cooperation. Last year, we saw two new airlines join us – Royal Jordanian and Qanot Sharq,” says Irina Ryabinina. “Flights on more than 10 routes were resumed. A large-scale charter transportation programme was successfully implemented as part of package tours of the Fun&Sun travel operator. ‘S7’ continues developing flights from Moscow. Last year, flights from Domodedovo to Ust-Kamenogorsk and Kemerovo were resumed, and the frequency of flights to Dubai, Ashgabat, Istanbul, Yakutsk and Neryungri was increased. ‘Ural Airlines’ tangibly expanded its network of international routes from Domodedovo Airport. We are grateful to the jury that our development has been noticed and recognized by industry experts.“
